First little sketches!

Above are first sketches to get things moving! Old, angry and Scottish I was aiming for here. Didn't bother colouring it all yet as I am still playing with shapes etc. Next plan is to keep on sketching get some feedback and maybe get a base mesh moving so I can see what needs work.

YES! this was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the brief! My goal is to be a modeler and the idea of making and designing my own car/bike was appealing but then I saw the brief with a 60 year zookeeper and this seemed something I would find more appealing on my showreel and more of a challenge to make! I have a transformer already on my showreel so I thought that this was my chance to make a well thought of and a well made character!
