Head shots and Orthographic

These sketches were more looking at the shape of the body and concentrating on orthographic views. As for the head I am still working on the nose and eyes, Been researching into other characters that have been used in other films and look at their shape and style! I have also changed his beard now its a goatee! as I thought that fitted better as he is a goat.

Harry Style!

Here are my Harry Lauter style broom stick! The idea behind the stick was that he wanted a true highlander image and walking stick still in its natural shape! I think I will be using the crazy one in the lop left as its more obvious and unique shape!

Harry lauder!

This is my character personality is based on! He isn't obsessed with poo but he is a stereotypical scotsmen! He was known for his old man attitude and his love and pride for his country! Also His walking sticks were famous as they will just sticks with wacky crocked shapes!

I plan to design my characters broom based on Harry lauders walking stick.

More Sketches of Wee Eck McGlone Goat

Above are some more sketches of the new concept for McGlone! Also I have played with some concepts with his poses and two of the sketches stood out. First being was his power pose! but from behind he has his Kilt blowing up. I thought this would suit his patriotism theme with him obeying the law of wearing no underwear with his kilt. Another pose was him on his knees happy in a pile of poo. I feel I need to work on the design alittle more but I am pleased with this concept at the moment!

GOAT?!

Well, this is more like it! I looked at my old sketches, and found this drawing of a goat version of the character and this seems to fit the style and theme I want for the character and I feel it gives me more movement in the character and range of poses as the tortoise was limited to the shell.

OK! I took 10 minutes to just play with the shape of the turtles head... and I don't like it. I been thinking that the tortoise/ Turtle isn't what I want, I don't think it suits the 'Scottish' style I am going for.

Sketches, Sketches and more Sketches!

Above was a few sketches I did looking at different animals as well! I had abit more of a look at the facial concept of the character, But I must also try give the style of claymation but I think that will be more down to my texturing that modeling.

Also I tried some concepts for different poses that I will think of abit later on when ready to print!
